Hi, we are Greg and Sofi, the husband-and-wife duo behind the dot. Studio!
Our story began on a Greek island, shortly after we had both finished our studies. Back then, our lives seemed to be heading in different directions, but a few unexpected turns somehow kept us together. Looking back, it's funny how life has its own way of bringing people together, often when they least expect it.
Photography was already part of our lives, although we had discovered it in different ways.
Greg has been a photographer since 2016. For him, photography became a way of seeing the world differently, finding beauty in the ordinary and paying attention to things that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Sofi has always been drawn to visual arts. She began studying Audiovisual Arts in 2013, exploring different forms of expression, from theatre to filmmaking. When our paths crossed photography became a whole new creative language we could share.
Somewhere along the way, we realised how much we enjoyed creating together. We each have our own influences, ideas, and ways of seeing things, but we've learned that our differences often bring out the best in each other's work.
And so, the dot. studio was born.
We wanted to create a space where our ideas and work could come together under one name. The dot. felt right from the beginning. Something so small, yet full of possibilities. After all, everything starts with a dot. An idea, a connection, a story.
Beyond our cameras, we're two curious people who love discovering the world. Travelling, wandering through unfamiliar places, meeting new people, cooking, sharing good food and a glass of wine (or two or three). We find inspiration in the places we visit, the conversations we have, and the little things that make everyday life interesting.
And then, there are weddings and love stories.
What we love most about them is the people and the connections we get to make along the way. We genuinely enjoy the months leading up to each wedding, getting to know our couples, hearing their stories, sharing ideas, and planning together.
By the time the wedding day arrives, it feels like we're meeting people we already know. We get to witness the excitement, the happy tears, the long embraces, and all those spontaneous little moments that make every celebration so personal.
We feel incredibly lucky that our work allows us to do what we love, together. To travel, meet wonderful people, and be welcomed into some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.
And perhaps that's the most beautiful part of it all.
